Welp. All the ~monoclegate~ stuff really killed my momentum both for blogging and for getting my corp off the ground. Had a post-CSM meeting thing I wanted to write up, but others have already covered it quite well, and it is a bit too late now to bother with it anyway. So instead to get the blog rolling again here are not one but two PvP videos from Kovorix from Matari Exodus: Tempestuous (EVE-files DL) and Everlasting (EVE-files DL). Sadly due to length and quality they aren’t up on youtube so I can’t link them directly here. Both videos are excellent and I’m having a hard time deciding which one I like better. Tempestuous has a bunch of good fights using the Typhoon and Tempest (Everlasting has some Tempest goodness too) which makes me lean a bit towards it, but both have some epic fights, the first Tempest clip in Tempestuous and Claymore fight in Everlasting in particular. Check them out, they make a good case for the viability of local tank fits for solo roaming even on BC and BS hulls. I may have to fiddle around with a Claymore in EFT now thanks to Everlasting. Before this I didn’t even remotely consider fitting one out as anything but a fleet booster.
